I think the deal is now when you get the call the ad may want to keep the watch as an exhibition only watch for a few weeks

Much more likely, the buyer will get the call after the watch has been on exhibition for several weeks.

unscrew the crown and test it out whether or not it can work. The SA will tell you cannot do that! Because they don't want it damaged as it will be sold/allocated to a customer.

I was at my AD today and every case was filled with exhibition pieces, mostly sport models. They had both steel Daytonas, just about every variant of the GMT, as well as a titanium Yachtmaster amongst others

I had to Google this Peter.

Looks like he is an announcer on US telly.

It was Beuce Wayne that stumped me.

How would anyone in Australia, Wales or almost any other country in the world outside of the USA know this guy?

My AD said the Bruce Buffer would take about a year, but they had the exhibition model to try on.

Seems like they no longer are keeping in the vault. Now on display as exhibition. As sales continue to slow theyll remove the 'exhibition only' sign

It is nice that they have more watches to see and try. And let us hope availability keeps improving.

Have to agree Eddie had no idea what a Bruce Buffer was that's why I asked these silly nicknames for watches are getting more bizarre daily.

I’ve spent my entire life in the US and also had no idea who the guy was. I didn’t quite catch the sarcasm that this was just yet another obscure nickname for a watch.
