FS: 1990 Gerald Genta Perpetual Calendar 2132.4
Description: A beautiful and well proportioned watch from the design maestro himself. Dating 1990 this perpetual calendar remains in wonderful condition and offers great value in todays market.
The case measures 36mm and 8mm thin, it’s free from any major marks and shows little wear, up close it appears like it may been polished lightly in the past although the hallmarks and engravings are deep and crisp on the case back. The stepped bezel is a great touch and very much aligned with the design language of other models from that period. The dial is off-white and has a shimmer-like finish, especially visible in the direct sunlight. The lapis moonphase sub-dial is a nice touch with the pop of yellow moon contrasting perfectly. Overall the dial shows little wear with the glass having a tiny mark around 4 o’clock position, only visible from some angles (nit-picking here!). The watch is fitted to a new Handnn strap in navy togo leather (love it) with a non offensive 3rd party buckle. I love these perpetuals, 36mm wears so well especially without the traditional lugs and being a Genta model flys relatively under the radar, for now. Price: 10,950GBP inc fully insured worldwide shipping. Watch located in London, UK. Payment method: Bank transfer only. Returns: Returns accepted if not genuine.
