Summer blue ploprof

I'm really interested in the new ploprof the unsure of anyone selling it near me. Will these become available fairly soon? If and when they do become available, do you think I could expect a discount on the grey market?

Cheers

I stayed there for a week for a conference last month. I have to say it was really fantastic. Although, I much prefer the Fairmont in Quebec City. I was a little disappointed as they didn't have a hot tube. Anyways, I will be going back next year for an Alaskan cruise.

As for the Summer Blue Ploprof, they had put it in the window on my last day. At that point, I had already gone into the boutique twice. I didn't want to waste anyones time.

Glad you enjoyed it! I’ve never been to the Fairmont QC, but I do love the old town there.

This reference certainly looks stunning in photos

It's highly unlikely that these will be discounted. Your best price will probably be list at an Omega Boutique if you get yourself on a waiting list.

I got one last month. The UK Boutiques have only received 5 I believe. Omega have encountered production issues with making the monobloc case so there will not be too many produced. This will mean you won't get a discount anywhere, indeed when one does make it to the grey market, I would expect to see a decent mark up on the price.
Put your name down at a boutique though but don't hold your breath. Will post a pic in a moment.

My boutique have received 2. The other one they sold to someone who had an original from 1973! I would tell the boutique you have one if you ever put your name down.
It’s a great watch.

I wonder when they will stop pumping out the entire line, they were 75th special run. The two biggest def seem the most rare

Thanks for all the compliments on the watch. It is of course chunky but its only around 45/46mm lug to lug. Thats 36mm day date territory. I was pleased that the width of the case doesn't hurt your hand when say getting out of a pool. I was concerned about that but it is a well designed case shape.

PloProf

When I went to obtain this one I was told by two dealers that they were only available through the Boutique route That is what I did. If you have a wrist over 8" make sure you tell them that you want two XL sections of Shark Mesh, not the standard set that they normally supply. And, yes you have to get the Shark Mesh. I have a black and an Orange rubber set but the Mesh is the best.

Sounds like more AD bulls... to me! Trying to hold back product with a crap story to encourage false scarcity!

You nailed it! Unless it has Snoopy on it, modern Omegas don’t deserve a markup. They’re more deserving of their 50% depreciation when you walk out of the store.

There are not a lot of Ploprofs being made because there are not that many people that buy them. They are definitely a niche item.

I asked for one from my guy at my home boutique—I have a purchase history of five Omegas—and not a word yet. He also said they have no idea when it’ll be released.

It looks like the only ones being made are the steel fade to blue dial on rubber strap. The Omega Website no longer shows the Titanium models or the Shark Mesh Bracelet which is unfortunate.
