I still can customize mine because manufacturing has not commenced yet. Any ideas? Do you like the almost yellow gold of the Series 5 or the grayish with some yellow gold accents of the Series 3 open dial I posted? Any input is appreciated.

I would lean more towards the yellow gold of the Series 5 solely because it’s what I picture in my mind when someone mentions a RWS. It’s just such a classic/refined look.

How much freedom are you allowed customization wise? Also sorry if you mentioned it elsewhere but are you getting the 38mm or 40mm?

An update:
AD has confirmed my delivery date which will be 2H 2025 (which is circa one year from today, plus minus a few months). Also confirmed the diameter (40mm), case material and the engraving design. Excited

18 a year. That makes you a chosen one! At this level of watch making, price doesn't seem matter as much as how much the patron appreciate the beauty of workmanship. I don't know if I will ever get to that level but sure fun to read threads like this. Congrats!

He makes them on Isle of Man? I recently had a chance to visit the island, it was very interesting. If you’re able to it would maybe be cool to take delivery in person.

Yes his workshop is there. If my work schedule permits I will take delivery in person and meet the watchmaker making my watch

Changed to platinum case. Chose cherry blossoms engraving behind. No engravings on the dial side to keep it simple. Paid 50% deposit and the 2H 2025 delivery date is still on track according to Roger Smith.
