Problem with Tudor Tiger
I just noticed that the date on my watch changes approximately one and one half hours before midnight. Has anyone else had this problem? Is it a common problem and is it an easy fix?

How long have you had the watch? When was its last service? Anything can be fixed.

If you always answer with a question, we're not likely to get anywhere.........
Typically, a watch always changes the date at the same place in the movement every time (or within a few minutes each day).... it either works, or it doesn't work... Your dial hands only show you an indication. It is likely that nothing is "broken", but rather that the hands were put back on in the wrong position.. Hence.... how old is the watch, and has it been serviced......

Just purchased it and it has a service record from February, 2009.

As Larry says, if it's consistant I doubt there's anything wrong. Just have it looked at during your next service.
Got pics?? We love those Tudors. dP

Tiger
Hi there,
This is normal, my tiger changes after a few hours, and has done this since I purchased it 2000. As in the previous post, as long as its around the same time everyday it should be fine. |

Tudor Chronos tend to start changing the date right after 11:10pm or so with a phasing movement. This is different to all Rolexes with a date feature, where the date changes in just one click at midnight. The Tudor Chrono movement starts to move the calendar wheel around 11:10pm and then at midnight it snaps showing the new date (right before the change at midnight you will see a little bit of the bottom of the next date digit).
