Which white/silver face AP Offshore?
I am looking at these two APs. Leaning towards the 15710 simple diver. Does anyone have opinion on:
1) comfort/weight 2) are both dials same silvery white color? I like the simplicity of the diver face and I think the new divers are using the same 3120 movement and cost like 50% more. Thoughts/opinions appreciated. ![]() ![]() |

I personally prefer the look of the Diver between the two. I have the exact watch and love it. I also have an Offshore (Taupe) with the ceramic and love it was well. I personally like the newer dial layout on the chronographs versus this one. Upside with the ceramic is the scratch resistance. My two Divers are scratch magnets. Good luck!

If go the opposite and do the ROO.
The diver to me has a less useful complication. The second crown is awkwardly placed. The offshore has a more practical bezel. And the chronograph face to me looks more interesting |

I agree, and the dial on that particular ROO is very well executed.

I’m a huge fan of the white diver. The 15720 has a new movement calibre 4308 which fits the case a little better.

When you say the chronograph is more useful, what kind of stuff are you (or other people) using this for in regular life? I've sometimes found amusement timing how long I am in line somewhere but that's about it...

If you can handle the size it is a no brainer for me... ceramic bezel, panda dial, just a beautiful classic 44mm ROO...

That chrono was my grail watch for years. I’d have to pick that one, but I like both

I like the look of the chrono more, but I just cant get past the size of that 44mm on my wrist - wearability suffers. If you have big wrists, that's the one to go for. If you have normal size wrists (7" or less), get the diver. I love mine.

Diver, 44mm is way too big unless you're an NFL lineman

Chrono all day.
And the guy asking how useful the chrono function is in everyday life...What the hell use is a diver function for 99.9% of the population? Lol |

I’ve been wearing my latest style diver daily for a few weeks now and I find it very comfortable. I do wear it fairly tight and have not notice ld it being top heavy as I’ve heard others report.
I’ve a firstly small but flat 6.25” wrist too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Even that is more useful than knowing how much dive time you had... But honestly I use it pretty frequently. So I NEED to? No. Is it fun since I have it anyway? TOTALLY. Cooking... Waiting in line...laundry in basement... Pickup kids in 2h after movies... How long does it take me to X... |

Both are nice watches. Prefer the smaller diver however the Ceramic bezel is a lot better as a daily wear. The stainless can be painful to see the crisp edges get destroyed. It will happen.

I have the silver tone face you mentioned, don't think I would ever part with it. Just had the strap replaced at AP too the black is more a shark greay and softer than the old one

That's correct there was a white face with blue tones and blue strap and a silver tone, you can tell the difference around the date windiow it has a black outline around it. The silver tone is stunning and very similar to the silver tone in the royal oak.
