Help with datejust identification

Greetings,

Kinda of got an itch for datejust with diamond markers and super jubilee bracelet.

When did super jubilee start appearing on the datejusts?

If anyone can help me with the ref numbers that would be great.

Seems to be hard to find in that combo. Would love super jubilee but standard jubilee would be fine.

THank ya!

Started around 2003/4 with the 116 references. You can tell from the clasp and the case of the datejust, which will have rounder, and polished lugs than the prior reference.

It’s when the bracelet is full jubilee. No clasp. Only the crown .

2003 thru 2014-15 with the 116 reference. The super jubilee bracelet was and is one of the best looking bracelets Rolex has ever made. They should bring it back or offer an option for the new references.

Remember to always buy the dealer first, and the watch second.

Cheers,

It is amazingly better looking than a standard clasp but…….keep in mind, there is a price to pay for that look in that there are no micro adjustments for wrist fluctuations. Basically like a President bracelet.
Doesn’t bother me but drives some crazy.

Thank you! Currently have a datejust but have this itch now for this model with diamond markers. Silver dial, diamond markers, super jubilee... oooof.

Thought this watch was an albatross, low and behold saw one today! Gorgeous! Have never seen one. Blue diamond dial! Asked about it guy said has sat in a safe for years, they moved and he got it out. So cool!
