Offered Pepsi instead of Batman?

Has anyone ever been offered unsolicited a Pepsi by an AD but having requested a Batman? Or the other way round which is more likely to happen I guess.

Haven spoken to quite a few AD’s, in my quest for a new watch. I would say that isn’t going to be a problem you have to deal with. One flat out told me the list for a Pepsi is somewhere around 130 deep, depending on how you want to count. He said they get 5-6 of them a year. The other colors, no where near that deep of wait list. Take it for what it is worth. I’m very new to this game, however he didn’t seem like he was blowing smoke up my skirt.

Unlikely, but yes, I’m sure someone has. I recently was offered a Batman after being on the list for a Jubilee Pepsi for some time.

I’d take it. I sold my BLRO to go to the BLNR.

Yes. This happened to me (offered BLRO), twice, within the last few years. One of those things in life: Offered what we don't want, cannot obtain what we do. Crazy.

Unless you have a solid spend history chances of being offered a Pepsi is slim.

When I got my BLRO in late 2018, I had the choice between it or the BLNR (11 series). I recall the text message was "do you prefer red/blue or blue/black?" It was an easy choice...

I was offered a Pepsi girl in the past even though I didn't request one. I declined because I have a CHNR already.

Rejoice if unexpectedly offered BLRO over any other Rolex model.

Back in January, I walked into my AD to get on the list for a Pepsi. My SA said it would be a long wait. I asked to try on the Batgirl. Then he asked me which one I preferred to be on the list for. I told him Batgirl and 10mins later, he came out from the back with one ready for me to purchase. In hindsight, I wonder if I had said Pepsi, if he would have came out with a Pepsi instead. Guess I'll never know...

My buddy who I referred got his choice between a Pepsi and a batgirl. First Rolex purchase. In the end he chose the batgirl.

It was the other way around for me. I asked for a BLRO, I was offered a BLNR from the vault instead. A really nice watch but not what I wanted.
