First Patek...which Rolex have to go...

Thinking about parting ways with 2 of the Daytona's to diversify the collection a bit and add a Patek. Thinking a 5320 in Cream or Salmon, or maybe a 5935A.

As special as the 509 blue dial is, it's a bit redundant in the collection of blue dials, so I think that is likely one of them.

As for trying to decide between the white dial and the oysteflex, that's a tough one...

Personal preference. I would sell the blue-dialed WG Daytona and keep the other two - both of which are fantastic.

If I had to pick just one Daytona to keep in this collection, it’d be the SS. My pick would be the 5320 with the cream dial, which is something I’d like to pick up for myself as well.

I would have let go of the Deep-sea. It's too thick and big.

Which one do you wear more? I would sell the other.

The good news is if you're buying from an AD inventory seems to be much better now. I was just at a local AD a few days ago and they had a few of the salmon dial watches in stock ready to purchase... the 5320 was one of them.

I'd keep the steel Daytona and the Milgauss and if I had enormous wrists possibly the Deep Sea.

As others pointed out, ultimately it’s up to you in terms of what you enjoy in your collection.
I had a similar dilemma a couple of weeks ago. I was offered an Aquanaut unexpectedly (I had requested it, but I purchased a 5396 in May so didn’t expect a call this early).

Although I initially planned on buying it outright, I decided to trade both of mt 116 Daytonas for a couple of reasons-To me the best feature of the Daytonas was how comfortable they are, however I honestly didn’t wear the White that often but did wear the Black. I also happen to prefer the newer model SS Daytonas and was planning on eventually swapping these out at some point.

I’m fortunate in that our AD has both Boutiques and I know I will be able to acquire the 126s if I still feel the need. However I told my AD that I wanted to live without the Daytonas for awhile to see if I truly miss them. To be honest I don’t think I would have done this if I didn’t have the safety net of knowing that I will be able to replace them eventually and that I prefer the 126s.

Honestly I was initially quite reluctant, but now I’m thrilled with my choice (I currently have 5 Rolex in my collection which I wear frequently).

Sorry for the long winded reply, but your question resonated with my experience.
Good luck!

I would find out the value of the watches in your collection and then move what I need to move to make it happen.

I would sell everything but the WG blue and Steel Daytona. But thats my tastes.

You should sell what you like the least.

5320 cream and 5935 are both very nice watches.

Those were my immediate choices as well.

IMHO if selling watches to fund the PP was necessary, PM Daytona's are prolly at peak right now and could drop a good bit based on economic churn in the near future.

I'd also add that the 5320 is selling at 30-40% off MSRP currently. So buying pre-owned makes the most financial sense.

Blue Daytona > Chocolate Daytona (you can always put it on OF plus you have a full gold version). I’m in the camp of DS would be on the block, just to large to enjoy for long periods.

Not gonna yield you as much money but I would def let go of the DSSD. Way too big and bulky, never been a fan.

This for me, if needed to narrow down more I would keep the blue WG + stainless.
