Description: The 1655 Explorer II nicknamed the “Steve McQueen” uniquely stands alone in design among the other sport Rolex’s of its time. It sports a very busy dial along with an all steel bezel and Orange 24hr hand. This MK5 example has a beautiful patina on the dial with yellow indices and a case that appears unpolished. These later Mark examples have a deeper saturated orange hand and it seems this one is indeed very orange.
