126610LV question
Hello.
New to the forum, but been following for some time. Seems like THE best place to get edjucated and usefull answers regarding Rolex,so ill start out with two questions. Have just bought a new 126610LV in full stickers. Since its not from an AD i purchaced it i wos wondering about some things. 1: Does the ROLEX letters in rehaut always line up exactly in the middle of the hour markers from 12 to 6 o`clock in a genuine watch?? 2: Seems my date sits more at the the top of my date window than exactly in the center. But still clearly visable, just as if the date could have been a tiny bit better centered. Could that be adjusted or is it just how the teeth on this watch make it stop? Thank you guys and hope my question makes sence. |

1. I found the 12 series watches the 12'o clock marker lines up very close to center of crown on rehaut from factory. On 11 series not so much
It's a dial alignment issue. Rehaut crown is the center line. Nothing to worry about, maybe ask to align at first service. To make yourself feel better: Go to CPO watch websites. Eg. Tourneau, watches of switzerland, 1916 company and zoom in and look at alignment. 70%+ of 11 series submariners have very off center crown/marker alignment. Only maybe 20% of 12 series submariners do. |

Thanks for the welcome and the reply.
After looking at a lot of 12 series, and 11 for that matter, it does seem that it is not always that every single letter in the rehaut line up in the midle of an hour marker. Its just funny how many people in different forums Think its a marker for not being genuine, if not every single letter lines up perfectly. Think its a little more Odd that the date does not line up perfectly in the center of the window. But I guess that might be a question on the teeth in the gearing. Thanks for taking the time to help out |
