New to me 116509 blue dial!

Thanks to TRF on helping me choose this watch!

I had my eye on several daytonas over the last few years, and I ultimately decided on the blue dial - it's unique and striking.

In low light it definitely appears as a black dial; the blue really only comes through when it's well lit. Legibility is surprisingly good! I think because this dial variation doesn't have multicolored subdials, so the silver/white hands stand out very well.

While I do prefer the bracelet, I am trying it on a leather strap which I have to admit I am growing to like! Unfortunately I only had a 19mm strap of this type; I just ordered one in 20mm.
