Better performance out of Caleb Williams this weekend. He kept the Bears in it. Bears should have fired Waldron four games ago.

But Eberflus is still going full on bonehead. Letting the clock run rather than getting Santos closer with another play was dumb. Not blocking down on the kick was dumber yet. The guy is oblivious to the details that matter.

I’m not surprised the Bills won despite the injuries they had to overcome.

The Chiefs are not a team that strikes fear in me. I could see the Bills battling the Steelers in the AFC Championship game. Of course, last year, the Chiefs didn’t look that great but still won it all.

Also, Eagles & Lions in the NFC Championship seems guaranteed. There is a big gap between those two teams and everyone else in the conference. The Commanders, 49ers, Seahawks, Cardinals, Vikings, Packers aren’t going to beat either of those two teams.

This is the time of year when we get a lot more clarity about who’s a contender vs who’s a pretender.

Exactly - we’re finding out who is for real and I hope the Bills keep the pedal to the floor!

Nice to beat the Chiefs anytime, they’re such a great franchise and so well-coached.

But unless/until we show up in January and execute like that…meh.

Allen is rarely outplayed by any QB head to head in a big game. Just check the stats. It’s the defense that craps the bed in January giving up 10 more points than they averaged in the regular season. That and they are routinely out coached by other teams.

The exception may be the home game against Cincinnati where they were pitiful. That team was washed.

I forgot to comment on the best update of the week. Vinegar peppers aka Tommy Devito is back under center for the giants. Hilariously this jersey shore character could “outplay” Aaron Rodgers and be the best QB in the state of New Jersey. Probably not but would be very entertaining.

I’m surprised how awful Dallas truly is. To be clear, I never expected them to be a Super Bowl contender. But I expected them to at least contend for a playoff spot. I know Dak is out for the year, but they weren’t winning with him on the field either.

Pitiful and an embarrassment for a storied franchise really. I do not see any way out of this for the next couple of years. I am trying to get my son who is a Dallas fan to jump ship lol.

Jerry Jones has lost the plot. It's sad to see him clinging so tightly to the reigns when the reality is that he can't manage the team at a high level any longer. He always had an awkward approach, but this year he wasn't even in the game. One wonders why his family doesn't nudge him to take on an emritus role so that others can maintain a contending roster.

Doesn't part of the issue at Dallas rest with the fact they've settled for a QB like Dak? He's ok, but not a QB to lead a team to a SB victory. They pay him like he's Patrick Mahomes, but I don't rate him as even in the top 2 tiers of QBs in the NFL. Now they've paid him another boat load of money to be mediocre at best independent of his injury. At some point you have to be honest with yourself, no matter how much you like the guy and be willing to walk away and look in a new direction. That $$$$ could be used elsewhere to shore up the team.

That contract is especially bad considering they could be in position to draft a top QB coming out of college.

Giants, Jets, and Browns are in the same situation with Jones, Rodgers, and Watson.

That's one of many awkward Jerry Jones decisions. If he was convinced that Dak was the guy, he could have extended Dak last year for a lot less money, but waited until the last minute (as is his custom) and paid top dollar for a QB that most agree isn't getting anyone deep into the playoffs. Now, they have limited cap space and too many mouths to feed. They'll be hopelessly cap locked. They'll need to trade some top tier talent and rebuild next year to have any hope of being competitive. But few coaches will want to be hamstrung with Dak's contract. And Jerry will have few good options to replace McCarthy.

Jerry is around my age. I can still perform my profession at a high level, but not 60-80 hours a week like an NFL GM needs to produce a premier organization (more like 20-30 hours on an ambitious week). Watching Jerry the last year or two I can see some symptoms that it's time for Jerry to be the consigliere, not the boss.

although to your point, I’m still salty about Diggs alligator-arming that 65-yd dime from Josh on 1st down that last drive against the Chiefs in the playoffs.

Bottom line, kid can’t win the game single-handedly, others need to step up on the field and sidelines for that to happen come playoff time.

Maybe the Eagles will end up with Micah Parsons the same way they ended up with Saquon Barkley. lol

They played together at Penn State and are good friends. That would be quite a kick in the teeth for the Cowboy fans.

Don’t remind me. I was sitting 3rd row 45 yard line for that debacle. Spent most of the second half cussing about what the hell McDermott was thinking giving the ball to Hamlin on a punt fake. Literally Jesus take the wheel lol

Is there still a cap hit for next year and the year after that? I’d assume there would be and it would be substantial.

The Giants had 245 total yards today.

Saquon Barkley had 302 yards for the Eagles.

DeVito, who we root for, could outplay 2024 Aaron Rodgers and be the 31st best QB in the NFL.

He extended Daniel Jones’ contract, let Saquon Barkley walk to our biggest rival.

He's be a first ballot HOFer if his best years weren't wasted on the Giants.

I fear the same for Caleb Williams. The Bears are great at ruining QB's.

So much for Tommy cutlets saving my shares of malik nabers. I assume mara is staying the course but I would be moving on from schoen and daboll. Some errors are unforgivable lol

Will we see Aaron Rogers playing for the Giants next year? Is Mara as gullible as Woody?
