Sub bezel with GMT movement?

Why don't they make this? I use bezel on dive watch 100s of times more often than I would use GMT function. But, when traveling GMT function is used much more often than time elapsed function.

24 hour indicator could be displayed on dial itself. Obviously would make it very busy.

Or I guess you buy a sub and GMT. Or a Timex Ironman from Walmart.

Rolex sticks to its tradition. They’re not going to create a Sub and GMT hybrid. And honestly, thank God for that

I feel they could have kept the GMT bezel the same as the Sub with 120 clicks. At least that way a GMT bezel could also be used for timing as well as GMT function.

I use a GMT bezel as a simple timer constantly. I don't see the issue.

Yes that would have been good, but it seems they would rather diversify, e.g. polished centre links too.

Welcome to my dilemma.
I have found Longines Hydroconquest GMT pretty good. Mido makes one, but too big for my taste.
Then when travelling, I would likely leave Rolex behind, and may prefer something that does not stick out.
Seemingly biggest issue is ETA makes the movement for in house. Sellita does not seem to make one to provide to smaller brands not under Swatch.
Miyota makes a 9075 which is being picked up by micro brands and some not so micro brands.
Lorier hydra GMT makes an option that would fly under the radar for travel and is a travel GMT.
There are a few options if you are not looking for a traveler GMT, but I presumed you were looking for a travel GMT, not a caller GMT.
