Some of these clips are from other flashmobs and cobbled together to the ELO song.

Although this looks kinda cool they're really choreographed performances in malls and town squares put on by dance classes and theater groups.

Some times others join in but certainly aren't random people spontaneously getting together and singing and dancing.

Just read your remarks to my dear wife, she’s a gentle soul, but was moved to remark: “what a miserable old , so and so”…..we didn’t ask for a dissection of what we thought was a joyful moment in time, no fantasy, just joy and happiness, which seem to be in very short supply, if the daily newscasts are anything to go by. I am curious how people find this emotional manipulation uplifting when the people aren’t even dancing to the ELO song, and the clips are ripped off of somone else’s songs.

It has the same emotional impact as receiving a birthday card from the realtor you bought your house from 15 years ago, and you still happen to be in his computer.

And say hello to the Mrs. And I’m sorry I ruined her day.
