Got the Call Today! Merry Christmas to Me!

Saw the name of my AD pop up when my phone rang. I knew then it was the call. My SA from Devon’s said Nerry Christmas, Kat! I answered, “My Explorer arrived?” She said “yes”. I said “I’ll be right there”.

My husband wants it wrapped for under the tree. I can live with that! My SA, Dawn, is wrapping it as I drink my second glass of red.

This makes me smile. Happy for you! Your kindness on the Forum makes this a welcoming place. Congratulations. Looks very sharp. I do like black faced watches for visibility and class.

That is a perfect description of this watch and perhaps me, too. It’s why I needed it.

Thanks, Brian. My SA said whatever I want next should be an easy get, for next year. I need that time to pay off this one. I’m trying to decide between a Sub and a GMT. So, total wait time was 10 months for the Explorer 36. I was surprised to hear there were only 4 watches in the delivery they got today. The other three wer3 all PM or bimetal pieces. As soon as they saw the Explorer, both my SA and the Manager, Anthony, both said simultaneously, “Kat”. That was nice to hear.

Thank you, Steve. I have waited 10 months for this one. My AD is a small independent jeweler, but they always come through for me. This is my third watch from them. I am the first customer to touch this watch. That is a good feeling. My SA even left the bezel protector on it.

Thanks! All wrapped up. I can wait a bit longer. It is sized! For those curious, as usual, I did get the white hang tag, as well. Spent 2 hours hanging out with staff. Devons is a special place. My SA said I got
T the very first new large Rolex gift bag, as seen in the pic.

Me, too. Honestly, I had a good feeling it would arrive before Christmas. What was nice is that the entire staff, who all know me, seemed as excited as I was.
