No extension for AP coverage service past 2 years
"You were among the first clients to benefit from our AP Coverage Service, which protects your watch against burglary and robbery and functional damage for two years from the date of purchase. Thank you for placing your trust in us. We are committed to accompanying our clients on their own journey with their watch and we are pleased to say that this service is now well established.
As two years have almost passed, we would like to kindly remind you that the coverage service for your watch will end on 31 December 2024." I'm disappointed they don't offer an extension of the service beyond the complementary two years (for pay, of course). By now, they should have a fairly good idea of the loss rate (which all rumors said was very low), and be able to figure out how to run this at cost or with a modest profit. Too bad, as that's still a unique selling point, for two years at least...

Agreed this is a unique selling point. They should push marketing toward this. Should be a solid for big-city clients.
Is this still going on for new AP pieces, outside of this forum, not many owners know about it or aware. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Got the email, too. I agree that they should have an extension of the program. I still insure them separately in our policy, but it's a great innovative program that nobody else does.

Yeah, still around. Wife got the coverage for her 38mm chrono this summer.

Especially since that's where the boutiques are located. I would love this to be extended too, even at a cost. Perhaps they could tie it to the extended warranty. At the two year mark, you send proof of continued ownership and then they increase the warranty and "insurance" coverage to five years.
