I don't have any ugly christmas sweaters, but I like 80s and 90s vintage clothes in general. I'll have to find some good sweaters.

No doubt . The sweater is awful. The one in wearing tomorrow might be worse.

Yes it is, I enjoy mine This year however MS decided not to sell their ugly sweater for the masses, but employees only. However I am not sure, I would like to replace mine to a current Red Ring of Death one...

That’s the worst.

My wife wore one on Christmas Eve and someone said i like your ugly Christmas sweater. She bought it because she thought it was cute .

okay, how did you manage to escape participating in this? About every other year my wife decides to get matching pajamas again because "its fun." As we all know, there is no fun so wonderful as mandatory fun.

You're right, I actually never thought of it that way!

In fact, it's an Ethen Hunt-like problem, because it is an impossible mission to properly compliment a lady at this time! After all, if you praise her ugly sweater is beautiful, then you are saying that she is not even capable of buying an ugly one. Which means for her, that she is not properly dressed for the occasion! However, if you're saying, wow, how ugly does this pulover look on you, then maybe it's best to run away from it real quick... if you can
