Getting ready for our employee Christmas dinner party. It’s just me & my wife in the company & we’re in the RV visiting family, but hey you still need to show employee appreciation at the holidays! Filet mignon, garlic mashed potatoes, & asparagus served with amazing Cabernets!

Happy NYE everyone! We picked up lobsters, shrimp, & grouper from Joe Patti’s seafood in Pensacola, FL today, & then went over to Total Wine & picked up some Oregon Pinot Noirs to go with it. Tonight’s celebration in the RV is going to be delicious! We’re starting with the shrimp as an app.

Summers spent at the Jersey shore taught me to love almost all seafood. I miss going fishing and crabbing.

Ah yes, the Jersey shore..!
Been there many a time. Drove down there in my MGBGT for a weekend away from NYC.
Use to go the Sheepshead Bay for clams on the 1/2 shell. CherryStones and 'little necks' as we called them.
Great times....for sure.!!

Yep. Living in a land locked state, fresh seafood is expensive. When we are traveling we take full advantage of getting local seafood.

Getting caught up on the What's For Dinner and backtracking to Christmas Eve..for our traditional Danish duck dinner, compliments of my Mrs..
Duck in the oven, sugar Glazed
potatoes and gravy in the works,..Risengrod (rice pudding) nearing ready, brought to table and the Almond to be dropped for the 'Mandelgave'
(50/50 chance)..served with butter and cinnamon then the finished dinner..another wonderful and flavorful dinner. Can't beat it....
Left overs for sure.!!
