Your course of action might not affect how they play their hand anyways. Your friend with experience def makes sense when your AD is coming back. But You will need to ask yourself 2 questions if the AD is really coming back and if the 126 panda will be your one and done or you will have other pieces you need. Imo if I were u, I either will wait it out till end of year and don't do or say anything at all till new store comes back. Or if I believe the new store is not coming back at all, I'll call the owner . Again calling the owner might still achieve nothing at all but burning the bridge completely.
