Is it safe?

…to wear your 20+ year old Seamaster at the bar for NFL?

What a great reference. Enjoy in good health. I get excited whenever I see another electric blue dial (stainless or titanium) in the wild. They need to get back to these form factors quite honestly on the new Seamasters.

I agree. I like the new ones too, but there’s something special about these older ones!

Thanks, I love it!

When I got it serviced last time I forgot to tell them not to polish it. When I went to pick it up I was like “WOW”.

The guy told me he never saw anyone pick up a watch before and have a reaction of shock like that. It looks brand new!

I can imagine! This was such a great era for the Omega Seamaster. Having it polished at service is the way to go, and although you initially didn't want it done I'm glad the end result made you react the way it did, they do great work.

This is a watch you must keep, I have a chronograph version of this era with the same polished bezel and it adds a nice touch.

I prefer the sword hands to what they have on the Seamaster today.

Wish they would bring these back.

I considered it but then I thought I might get stabbed in the parking lot.

Erm well I normally watch Raiders (yes I know). I think KC for the Superbowl but that’s hardly an amazing insight.
