Noticed pro golfer Viktor Hovland not having the AP logo on his golf shirt (right arm sleeve). No longer a brand ambassador?

They announced Sabalenka after her win at the US Open.

A lot of their golfers took the LIV money early doors. A lot of politics going on in golf. Obviously not for them any more. Can’t say I blame them.

Interesting. Maybe Rolex is too dominant there with all the golf sponsorships. I always appreciated the few that had the AP logo on their shirts when I got into this hobby (as am also an avid golf fan)

I think this is likely it, and FHB was a golfer before AP, so there was always support for it previously.

Tom Kim is playing without the AP logo at the Sony this week. I always liked seeing a few AP sponsored players out there and the golf events were very unique opportunities to play with those guys.

I did read somewhere that AP is making moves to sponsor Ballet and Softball as sports in the near future but I don't believe it.

It could be possible with the direction AP is taking but doubt it.

My SA also mentioned a while back that AP would be slowly moving away from golf. I was a little disappointed to hear that.
