I know he has plenty of good reference posts here... but the last one was over a year ago.

Just to ease my mind before finalizing a transaction, I would like to just get a more recent thread to get feedback on John!

I don’t post on here much, but I bought a Patek Philippe 5396R from Sensui last year. He was amazing to work with - he gave me a ton of advice, communicated well, and took extra precautions to make sure I got my watch timely and safely. We still keep in touch and I would vouch for him 10000%.

It looks like you are having issue with payment.

I would not make a payment until you have absolute identity confirmation.

Update!

It's been a crazy and frustrating experience, which is no fault of Johns whatsoever. He has been patient and understanding throughout the ordeal.

It was mostly because of my bank (Bank of America):

I wired out Monday for same day wire. It didn't process.

I call Tuesday and they ask me some security questions and if I really want to wire, and I answer yes to everything. It ends up not processing again and, this time, gets CANCELED.

I get no call so I call Tuesday evening and they said they adamantly believe I'm being coerced to send this payment and being preyed on... so they won't process it.

I asked what can I do to just get it sent, and they told me to go to a local branch, sign a bunch of waivers and disclosures, and they will process. So I did that Wednesday morning and it finally got processed.

Received watch and a big thumbs up to sensui for being a class act and a new friend!
