My second Otsuka Lotec arrived today. I’m really enjoying the contrast and difference these watches give to the rest of my collection.

Congratulations! The new one is very easy to tell time due to the magnifying glass!

Congratulations on your new 7.5 , I also like mine

I only changed the strap to a Milanese bracelet, because I think it looks even better with it.

An interesting observation from me:

All numbers are very legible in sunlight. In pure LED light, however, it is difficult to read the minutes because the sapphire crystal and the metal dial are reflecting the light, so the contrast between the numbers and the dial will be small.

They sent me an email to purchase the other day. Unfortunately, it can only be delivered to a Japanese address or else you can't buy one. Oh Well.

If it would only be the only restriction... but you have to pay with japan issued credit card, and will lost the warranty if the watch would be reselled. Also I am sure, that it will go for raffles, and will never more be available for gaijins directly from Jiro.

However, that is life, I still love mines

This guy just releases banger after banger, I love it.

I'm a huge fan of independents doing affordable & creative pieces with easy to service base movements too.

The fact that they made the world's smallest ball bearing for this watch is a big thing in itself:

Now I am more and more curious about the rumors of his new tourbillon watch.
