Make the switch if you like the look, but I wouldn't describe any modern Rolex GMT as low key. While not as colorful, the oyster case and either choice of bracelet can be spotted and recognized from across the street, like any Sub. I wouldn't use that as an excuse to buy is all I'm saying.

BLNR vs GRNR

This is the first time i’ve ever seen someone say a black sub is flashy lol. I was gonna say OP should add a 126610LN to his collection if he doesn’t want to wear his GMT all the time.

I personally prefer the oyster over a jubilee on a GMT but the oyster is still pretty flashy, my sub is not flashy in comparison

Same thing happened to me, only watch I've purchased twice.

That's true. But so is the GRNR on a cloudy day

Jaja, totally true. Some call the GRNR the London Fog

I would keep the Batgirl. The Speedy is all you need for a daily wear.

I love the way the blue pops in the blnr and needed time to appreciate the grey as to me it looks like its been dipped into some kind of bleach (pardon my layman terms) and 'wala! its gonna be a seller!'

I agree with that. I have both and wear the GRNR more than the BLNR…because it feels like a much more subtle colour combination. The GRNR looks so much better in person than it does in any picture, whereas the BLNR looks better in most pictures than it does in person, for me.

The therapeutic value of one … helping another.
They say a smart man learns from his own mistakes but a wise man learns from the mistakes of others.
Lately, I’ve been viewing these kinds of posts as lessons.

I, too, have had thoughts. Thoughts of doing something as irrational as trading my LV AND BLNR for a BLRO on jubilee. My LV was purchased from the same AD where I bought my finance’s ring and has that memory, as well as hunting and harvesting elk in it, harvesting whitetail in it (also doing the sorts of things that come after the harvest in it). Plus experiencing countless other memories in it-not to mention it’s just a great-looking badass watch.

I JUST bought the BLNR on jubilee this December and it is SUCH a killer combination with the LV it isn’t even funny. Whenever I look down I’m amazed at it.

Yet, there I’ve been… contemplating trading both plus getting some cash back for one watch.

This sickness is real, my friends and, just for today, I am not trading anything and will be perfectly content with what I’ve been fortunate enough to attain to this point. Lol

I'd keep the BLNR. GRNR too close to black.
I got rid of 2 black Subs for a BLNR and a VTNR.
Nuff said.

I like both, but would keep the BLNR. I would really like to have a Batgirl and a Guinness though.

My biggest issue with the GRNR is the green gmt hand. That really should be red or a different color, to avoid it looking to be a simple tweak of the bezel and following g a unique scheme.

The BLNR, on oyster is what I own and it is dynamic, the blue pops, the blue gmt hand is a real nice touch.

Side by side of a BLNR on jubilee vs GRNR on jubilee is no context in my opinion, BLNR looks alive while the GRNR looks sterile and bland, even appears less crisp than a full black bezel gmt, which again, a red gmt hand would go a long way to create a pop on the dial.

This collecting thing is a disease, new is not always better, though it may feel like it.

I chose the BLNR. I love the pop of color compared to all black.

As for the GRNR, for me it is the perfect GMT to own if you already own one of the other 3 color combinations and want to switch things up a bit and want an understated look....personally would not recommend as a one and done for a GMT as I find the other color combos far more fun/interesting....

It’s just a matter of personal taste. I will own just one GMT, and it will be the GRNR, on Jubilee. Some of us are drawn to more classic looks. When I’m in the mood for a pop of color, I grab my Wimbledon. Since OP’s collection includes mostly monochrome black watches, I suspect his personal preference is more like mine.

I would not make that swap but if I was I’d wait a while as I’m sure the GRNR will settle below BLNR.

This. The GRNR gray market prices are absurd

It's not a downgrade to me as both are still GMTs, but I would love to keep my Batgirl intact.

I’m a big fan of all 3 SS jubilee GMTs. They all are great options.

I’ve been wearing the GRNR nearly every day since I’ve gotten it late last year.

They're both beautiful piece, but I'd keep the Batgirl and save up for the GRNR to avoid future regrets.

There are actually 4 SS Jubilee GMTS...BLNR, BLRO, GRNR, VTNR

I agree with trailblazer68. The GRNR is too low key and just doesn’t appeal to me at all. I would sell a GRNR for a BLNR.
