I would try to find a 11610 LV. That is my next Rolex. The new ones don't hold a candle to the original with the aluminum bezel. Good luck.

Sounds like you are buying watches for the sake of it. |

The 124060 for me. The dial is so well balanced and clean.

For what it is worth, I own the 126710BLNR, 126610LV, and the 124060...
If I could only choose one to have forever it would be the 124060. I think the BLNR and LV are a perfect pair and do find the 124060 redundant with the other two watches. It's just not different enough, but on its own, it's the best sports watch Rolex makes if that makes any sense. I know some people like having multiple examples of the same watch, but I'm struggling with two Submariners and will likely sell the 124060 and replace it with something else. |

I am on the waitlist for a steel Daytona. I have a good relationship with my AD, but I am sure many others do as well. So who knows if it will happen. But that would be my next addition as well. I told them I would take either dial as I have both white and dial watches already in my collection.

I’m really after a two watch Rolex collection so this information helps. I couldn’t imagine having two SS submariners. |

I also recently picked up a black dial 116400GV and that's sort of scratched my "no date" itch and is different from everything else I own that it can stand apart for the remainder of my collection. |

Went to try some watches on in NYC during a conference break - yeah the LV clearly wins.
Also first time trying on a SS Daytona I was blown away at how comfortable it was and it’s stunning. |

Thanks for sharing! The LV looks great. The Daytona looks perfect for your arm! Have a great conference.

that would really be a tough call for me. if i were to only pick one, id go with the LV hands down, but since i have other watches with date functions i opted for the ND 124060 since it's something a little different.
i have a love/hate relationship with date functions-i can never get them right and typically second guess myself most of the time. i might make peoples eyes roll with this statement, but i also could see a date complication as something that could potentially fail under hard use. 99% of people will never experience this, but i have broken the crystal on a watch and a small shard of sapphire made it into the date window. as the parts continued to move the shard continued to move with them, causing additional damage and cost to repair was increased. again, that was a very unique situation and youre more likely to be struck by lightning several times than ever having that happen. |

The Daytona is well……a Daytona and will spoil your wrist.

I have the BLNR and the LV Mkii. Those are pretty much my daily wears. One, or the other, will go with almost any attire. I also own a Coke (16760 no-date dial) that I’ve owned for decades.
I purchased the LV thinking it would complete my color choices of red, blue, and green. However, truth be told, the Coke doesn’t see much wrist time these days. |

I’ve owned both the BLNR on Oyster and the new LV. The LV is now gone, and I still have the BLNR with both bracelets. I completely understand your desire for something more under the radar and low-key. The reason I sold the LV—and a potential issue you might face—is that the two watches are just too similar. Both have Oyster bracelets, black dials, and cyclops lenses; the main difference is the bezel color. Which isn't really a big difference. But hey at the end of the day it is your money so go for it

This is a really good point. I’m waiting on my Jubliee bracelet and that might give me the change up I desire. This black Daytona is making me considering scraping the green sub completely and build a plan to get the Daytona grey in 26. |

Have you considered a Green OP 41? I bought one as an under the radar daily beater but ended up mistakenly selling it and really regret it. Perfect watch that flies under the radar and put still gives you that pop of green
