Well, I’m still fighting with State Farm over repairs on my M5 that has been in the shop for 8 months, so I decided to get something else. This is my first Mercedes (almost got an e55 and e63 back in the day, but the deals fell through.)

Fun car to drive. It seems to evoke more emotion from others than sports cars I have owned. Lol I’ve been flicked off a coupe times and also had younguns’ trying to egg me on to floor it.

The champagne problems? no smartkey entry without pushing the open button, no wireless carplay, and transmission takes forever to warm up in the cold.

Can’t wait to go off-reading in it, just need to be mindful of those exhaust tips

Also recently scored a good deal on a new v8 defender for my wife, no pics though, won’t be delivered for a couple weeks.

Next car purchase is going to be something discreet to daily, carry bicycles and take to appointments where the G63 might not be suitable.

Not really sure what though, but I’m sort of leaning towards a Subaru Outback/forester or maybe a Mazda CX5. Need some suggestions, please, TRF!

Also, an FYI that awd does essentially nothing for stopping distance. That is determined by tire compound/tread pattern/condition and size (width) along with vehicle mass. Something far too many SUV or other AWD drivers seem to misunderstand…
