Once the new QP is out...I get a sense the last remaining outsourced movement will be the Vaucher based 5900 in the 34/37...

And btw Hublot still uses the trusty ETA 2892 for some of its models - no shame as RM, Greubel, and even Patek use AP for movements and vice versa for certain components. I think it's actually great.

Yeah, many people don't appreciate how recent the "in-house" trend/fad is, when for most of its existence sharing movements and suppliers was the way of life for Swiss haute horology.

New video out for the 150 campaign/releases.
The tv screens show a lot of different case shapes from over the years.
It’s a fair bet there might be a new model line up being released

Or maybe another remaster model? We are fellow nerds I also looked at AP's page this morning to see if any hints up for the end of January about the coming releases

I never understood the single hand Millenary. Maybe it would teach me some Zen approach to life and not worry about the little things.

Actually it is called Philosophique and it is about things you mention... not caring if you are few minutes off...

Pretty cool.

Reminds me a bit of VCs 1921, which is also a gorgeous piece.

Why would you be a few minutes off? Because there is no minute track?

Yes, with one hand and overall design there is no way you can know is it 6:04 or 6:08, or 5:33 5:39, especially on the latest Millenary without any markings between the hours markers... is it 10:14 or 10:17...

The original Philosophique had the 15, 30, 45 markers between hours to make it a little bit more easier to read...
