Registering grey market AP

Hi all - been getting conflicting info so hoping to get some clarity.

Looking to buy a 2022 AP on the secondary market. No warranty card.

Am I able to call AP or go to a boutique to get it registered in my name?

Thanks y’all.

But I believe to register a piece the person has to have the warranty number…unless that requirement has changed, it’s been a while.

you need the card to register it under your account. also theoretically after you register it, the original owner could register it again under their account if they kept the card information

you can go to the boutique

and have them send it to clearwater for archives and registration to you. If it doesnt need service, the fee is 600$. You get a digital archive.
