That there's rumors about it and no one really knows?

my AD finally took note of my request about a year or so ago and said it within a year it should be possible. he said most people who request it when they recieve it and try it on dont want it anymore. alot of people regret this specific purchase it seems.

Well cans and bottles of the fizzy soda pop sprite is quite popular world wide so doubt if discontinued.

Watches in general have declined over the past while, especially the hype pieces.

I never understood the allure of this thing to righties. Sure, it's something different, but I just can't get over the date/cyclops and crown on that side. The only aspect that is intriguing is the black/green bezel.

But, options, I get it. Shrink the menu, and focus on what limited offerings you have to improve or the most subtle of changes. The masses will go nuts, regardless.

Doesn’t seem very popular. I’m surprised that it actually commands a premium.

I love mine. Something different. I actually have grown to like the crown on the left hand side, on my left wrist. It's more comfortable and the crown is not always digging into the top of my hand.

It's a very strange thing - if you are a 'righty' wearer, the position of the date and cyclops look and feel very natural in no time - much like when a lefty wearer dons a traditional watch.

Yeah. It is a su 🌾 watch.

There is ZERO chance I would buy one just because I thought it was ending production tho.

Nope

I will never understand the allure of this watch, unless you are a person who always wears his/her watch on the right wrist. Worn on the left wrist, it just looks silly! Kudos to Rolex, though, for creating a true Destro, for true lefties, who wear their watches on their right wrists.

Jean-Frédéric Dufour, the CEO of Rolex, is known to wear his Rolex watches on his right wrist. He is left handed, don’t think they will be discontinuing that watch anytime soon. Just my opinion, if they discontinue this watch it may be an orbiting offering, traveling from model to model over a period of time. Their really should be a lefty at all times from Rolex.

These are my thoughts as well, but I know enough to know, I know nothing.

I love the Sprite.. I don't get the hate. It's different, and that should be something to celebrate IMO.

I'm hoping they discontinue the Sprite and go with a COKE!! Could you imagine a new, ceramic dial, 2025 COKE? That watch would be amazing. (Would be funny for those that hate the Sprite if they made the Coke in the left hand configuration also )

You should get one! They were meant for folks like you and my husband, another right wristed lefty. I’m a left wristed lefty, so it would not work for me.

This era is all about inclusion and diversity. Although this watch has nothing to do with race or sex or anything, it’s the only left hand watch in the catalog and lefties should be included and have a spot in a major watch brand catalog for sure in this day and age. Just off that I don’t see it being discontinued.
The bizarre thing is that Tudor did the left-handed watch thing better. Rolex just flipped the movement around. I don't understand it.

I am ambidextrous and some unexplainable thing kept drawing me in to this watch. I wear on my left wrist. Have worn subs, blro, and blnr. I love the colors as in the sun the green is vibrant and just turns dark at night.

No "normal" person will ever notice the left side crown. Maybe I'm just unhinged.

Is it better than the others, no, but to me it's not worse.

We’ve had this discussion in other threads, and while it’s silly to you, it’s amazing to me. I love mine (on the left wrist). Just giving the respectful counterpoint here. Different strokes for different folks!

As for the OP, I have no idea about the market value of the VTNR. I bought mine because I love it. Full stop.

Mine was bought with only to wear in mind, love the watch and gets some really good attention and comments, these were a crazy price on the grey market when first released, and have plummeted so anyone bought one at the high or to sell high will be gutted, I really couldn’t careless left or right wrist, wear mine on the left and feels right for me .. that’s ok version of the word right …
