Hi Ebannist,

It sort of resembles a Copernicus (which was MB's 2003 Patron of The Arts pen). But the Copernicus has sterling silver rings so if this is a Copernicus the silver is tarnished (which can happen). One would have to see the nib and more details of the pen to know for sure. I don't think it is a MB I am familiar with.

Yes, we need to see the nib and the jewel or the top of the cap.

Hi Ebannist,

I am not very knowledgeable regarding MB ballpoint/rollerball pens. I believe this is a replica pen meant to share design elements of the MB Patron of Art (POA) Copernicus pen.

I don't know if this has changed in the last five years, but when I was actively collecting MB pens (which includes the time of the Copernicus) the POA pens only came as fountain pens. After each POA was introduced, replicas would quickly hit the market that were similar-looking ballpoint/rollerball pens. Given the mother of pearl star on top and general look of the pen, I think it is a replica Copernicus.
