Tudor chrono question

Years ago I had a Tudor Chronograph that was in a Rolex case & crown . What year and model # would that be ? Had a sapphire crystal and a light colored dial . And what would be the last year ?

Clark,

If it had a sapphire crystal it was a 792XX model [79260: black tacky bezel, 79270: 12 hour rotating bezel, 79280: metal tacky bezel] and would date to the late 1990's, possibly early 2000's. Only the early examples of this reference had the Rolex crown & case back before switching over to the Tudor shield.

I owned a 79280 w/ Rolex attributes that dated to 1998.

It obviously depends on condition, any extras [box/ papers, etc], and service history. Been a while since I've priced these but have seen, especially those w/ Rolex attributes, listing in the $6K range.
