Birth Year Speedy

Hi guys,
my current daily is a modern 3861 Speedy. I love it dearly it's gonna continue to be the watch I wear on a daily basis. However, I'm still in the hunt for a vintage birth year Moonwatch, which I would only wear every now and then. I love old banged up watches with lots of patina and I recently found a Speedy I like online:

https://uhrwechsel.com/collections/o...ch-ref-145-022

From the pictures, I really love the watch, and 1983 is my birth year. I'm only worried about the bracelet, as it looks like it has some massive stretch. And I would definitely want to wear it on the bracelet, since I wear my current Speedy on an rubber strape and I'm looking for some change. Does anyone have an opinion on the bracelet just from looking at the pics? Do you guys think it will last if only worn maybe once a week?
Cheers!

The 3861 can go on the modern solid bracelet, and the vintage on leather - that’s how I did it. But I recently sold my 3861 in favour of keeping the 74 Speedy since I prefer the patina and character of the vintage as well. I have the original bracelet for the 145.022, but leather straps is the way to go

Good news: the bracelet on that watch is reference 1171 with reference 633 end-links, and Omega still produces it! You can purchase that same bracelet, brand new, from Omega, and then tuck the old one away for safe keeping.

I don't recall the cost, but I think it's in the ~$700 USD range. You would purchase directly from an Omega Boutique (you can order over the phone if there isn't a Boutique nearby). I think the reference number might be 1171-1 now, or something like that, but just tell them you want a new 1171/633 bracelet and they'll know what you mean.

Thanks, guys! I would prefer to wear the vintage speedy on a bracelet, so I'll probably try and get the 1171 reference!
