Legibility Adjustment

Much easier to read. OEM hand + Rolex certified watch maker.

I cleaned it up a bit when I got home and it looks much better in natural daylight. Since I have other Daytona’s that are all stock, I don’t mind adjusting this one.

It’s really impressive to see how much of a difference such relatively small changes makes to readability, while maintaining (maybe even improving) aesthetics.

Can you clarify how you got this done? Do you mean you know a Rolex certified watchmaker and he had these components and made the changes for you? Or did you get these red hands components elsewhere?
Thanks.

Red hands came from an independent supplier from TRF. OEM parts. All 4 hands were about $450. I have a few friends that are watch makers that will do non authorized work, like switching the hands out. I still have the original hands of course.

I knew what the red hands do for legibility because the way they look on my old school meteorite Daytona. One of the favorites in my collection.

If you are happy that is all that matters but it just doesn't do it for me.

Outstanding. I’ve never done it, but I’ve thought about having hands changed before to improve legibility.
