How are we obtaining the other 2 bezels now that apparently Rolex only allows you to purchase the OG bezel that the watch was made with?

Has anyone tried since the new policy came into effect? I've heard of some people buying a cheap aftermarket one on eBay and then asking to get a replacement, or sending in without a bezel at all, but not sure if that will work. I wonder if I take to the AD without a bezel they can just order the part?
