Oysterflex bracelet price

Hi

I’m in the market for an oysterflex to fit on my SS skydweller using smarty end links.
I received a quote for the two parts of the bracelet at an astonishing 1300€.
What do you guys think?

I don’t like rubberB, but given the price difference, i may reconsider…. It’s a shame because I like endlinks and apart from OEM oysterflex I don’t know of any rubber that would use such links.
Thoughts?

1300 euros, for a bit of rubber? I take it you get the clasp included too?

That is ridiculous, I know there is metal in the Oysterflex but 1300 euros for two small pieces of rubber is daylight robbery.

Who was the quote from? I understand that it is no longer possible to acquire through the RSCs, so now the secondary market prices are going to skyrocket.

I believe it includes the clasp.

An oyster band costs around 2k usd, so the oysterflex should be A LITTLE cheaper

Nope guys, no clasp.
Just two pieces of rubber (ok, with some kind of fancy blades within, but still…)

If you can acquire from a Rolex AD, I believe it is around $250 per side. I’ve managed to get a few from ADs but had to ask around a lot before I found ones that would sell it.

Maybe a bit more, something like $280-$290 per side (at least from RSC NY, where I got mine)

Yea that’s a crazy price.

The OF bracelet is actually molded rubber over titanium. It helps retain the shape, and you can’t actually cut through the band.

But that price is still ridiculous if it doesn’t include any end links or the clasp.

Keep looking. The true price of the OF is not anywhere near that.

It's easy to find almost identical straps at far lower price. But if you want the OEM pieces you'll need to pay OEM or near prices. OEM prices through an AD.

May I ask where you purchased that from? I'm in the same boat. New daytona, 6 o'clock bracelet one size too small. Need that exact bracelet.

I got a pair to use on my 116500 back in ‘19, they were $270 a side back then so $300 now doesn’t surprise me. You can get aftermarket OF style straps for less than $100 a pair, take a look at Strapsco.
I have Smarty endlinks but apparently he has ceased production, I believe there are some newer options available now.
