My own I felt had a little play even when new, Jubilee having twice the links of Oyster and being more flexible.
I don't feel it has stretched in the slightest, I don't detect any wear from it. There is a little side to side movement between link that was always there but no back and forth movement between them that I can detect that wasn't there when new.

OP watch looks the same, I wouldn't say there was any noticeable stretch in the watch pictured(?).

There must be someone with a very little worn/unworn example, can you post a similar pic to compare if you have?

This is literally the first post (that I myself have seen) discussing stretch in a moden Rolex bracelet, has anyone got an example to show (Jubilee or Oyster) with signs of stretch?

I think a Jubilee needs to be worn a little loose (rather than too loose or tight), because if you wear a tight bracelet, there will be some activities or wrist movements where extra force will be applied to the links and that may promote wear on the link pins over time. Its force x friction = wear. The friction can occur where there is constant force on the links due to it being worn tight and where you have dirt or dirt mixing with solvents like soap residue, it can create a paste that will wear the link pins and fittings.

That bracelet looks fine. My 2021 BLRO worn frequently is about the same and to the naked eye has not stretched in that time. The Jubilee is supposed to be supple and flexible.

^^. This is exactly the main factor.

The modern Jubilee is built like a tank but any bracelet that is not washed often and sized incorrectly will get some play. That’s not saying this play is any sign the bracelet is close to being worn out. It’s “worn in”.
That said, if kept clean and sized correctly you may not see any wear and still hear that new bracelet “squeak” for years.

As noted above too loose (like a jangling bracelet) will more than likely cause premature wear.

Of course keeping it clean helps too

That’s exactly how my BLNR on Jubilee fits. I’ll keep it very clean too!!

Thanks for posting the picture. That is very minimal if any wear. Enjoy your watch.

I see nothing wrong with the band. Just keep wearing it.

And about the swirls, my clasps all looked like that after a year. So long that they are just swirls and no deep dings or scratches then there is nothing to worry about.

Your bracelet looks fine. This is my clasp after 3 months of wear.

What kind of duration are these jubilee bracelets built for would be another question?

Thanks for others input as well.

I think I just have so many watches, that none of them get significant wear marks, except for the gold ones, which show some fine swirlies. My comment was not meant to be offensive, in any way. Mea culpa.

There is a large difference in wear on five digit bracelet versus six digit solid link bracelets. .

Yours is almost like new and at least a decade of daily use away from being worn out
