Any love for the 1002?
I’ve recently purchased a 1002 from 1973.
Absolutely adore the watch, I have quit small wrists so the 34 mm case fits perfectly. Would love to hear what the community thinks of this reference 🙂 (I need some more posts before being able to share links, i.e. post photos easily). |

Early Oyster Perpetuals are a nice choice and great looking watches......very classic.
Anybody can attach a photo as long as it meets the file type requirements.

34mm watches are small for most forum members in my experience, but it's a great watch for someone with small wrists, and a great value. I particularly like the OPs from that era with the engine-turned bezel. I wish they used that bezel on a 36mm reference, especially a no-date like the 1018.

Really? I would think that a bezel for a 34mm reference would be too small for a 1018.

Almost all of my Rolex and Tudor watches are 34mm.
The 1002 is a great watch. It's not far off from an AirKing 5500 but with a certified 1570 movement. Please post a picture of you watch. Cheers Peter |

Sigma dial is a nice little bonus.
