Traded OP 41 for OP 36

Apart from the fact that the 36 fits your wrist much better, everything about the 36 is proportioned better than the 41.

You could say I'm biased, as I'm wearing the green OP 36 right now. As someone with 7.25-inch wrists, the 36 was always the option for me.

Very wise decision. I feel the same way about the 41mm DJ. Just too much dial for the proportions of the design, along with skinny hands. Doesn’t look right.

The 36mm OPs and DJs are the perfect classic size.

When I inquired about the OP, I tried the 41 and I thought it was way too big for my wrist. The 36 was perfect. I think you made a wise decision.

Though I wished Rolex made a 38mm...but then someone will say "bring back the 39mm!"

Definitely my favorite color OP, I like the 41 but on your wrist I must admit the 36 looks more proportional. Congratulations!

Agreed it’s the best color. Red yellow and the light blue obviously command a premium because they for discontinued in some sizes, but subjectively, this color is my favorite!

Nice! Congratulations! I think the 36mm fits you better in the pictures. Good call.

Good choice. These watches shouldn’t even exist in anything larger than 36mm. Has nothing to do with wrist size. 41 hasn’t existed all that long and was a reaction to a misguided fashion trend. Good that the classics are still available.

Good move! 36 looks more balanced on your wrist.

I had a similar experience. I'm currently wearing my 1981 36mm DJ TT Jubilee. Last year I bought a new 41mm DJ white/Oyster thinking that the upgrade after 40+ years was reasonable, along with the technical improvements to go with it. I found, after a short time, that the new 41, although technically a better watch, just didn't feel right on my wrist. The more I tried to make it work, the more I realized it wasn't going to work. I sold it to a friend, and have returned to my 36mm, combined with my BB58 to compliment the DJ with a more casual daily wear watch. By the way, after the recent service my 44 year old DJ still impresses me - smaller case, hollow links, 7 hole adjustment on the clasp, hesalite (I think) crystal with a warm soft vintage vibe, and the date wheel is gold background and black numbers - a perfect match for black dial with gold stick markers. The BB also has a vintage vibe, but it's pretty clear that it's hard to top a 44 year old DJ as an "original vintage".

Good luck and enjoy your new watch!

Yeah the OP41 dial is actually bigger than a DJ41 dial too. With colors the OP41 is just too much of a good thing.

The yellow OP36 is mine and I only wear 40 mm watches. Daytona 126600 and 116519 ghost. 16610LV, 1680 sub. 126710 BLNR. I don’t even like my DJ41 anymore as it’s a tad big and unproportioned in looks.
My wife’s Turquoise started this whole craze. Mom got the red. Lastly I got the pink for my daughter but she hasn’t seen it yet. I will want to try it out first though. It’s pretty!

Agree, good call. I have 6.5" wrists and 36mm is perfect. After a while, even a Sub looks big on your wrist.

I have the same size wrist, and have been waiting for a silver OP forever. I was offered the 41 but passed, just too much for my taste. Finally have a 36 coming in the next couple days. I think you made the right decision.

Good move! Adding a jubilee bracelet also looks great! There are pictures of that on the Net.
