Had both and sold the hulk and use the CM as a daily beater. The 41mm proportions are better and it flies more under the radar. Getting it cheaper than a SS daytona on the secondary market it also a steal in my opinion. It’s probably my favorite watch even over my other Rolexes, APs and Pateks. If I only could wear one watch it would be the WG sub.

I don't understand how a nickname triggers so many people. I am new to Rolex and have an OP41 but from reading here seeing all the model numbers I find a bit confusing. If someone said a Pepsi I know what it is. When they say a RB26007 vs XL287J I have no idea what they are talking about

The Hulk and CM are literally my two favorite Rolex so I'm fully biased towards having both!

My daily is the 116610LN, I also have the 126610LV and 126619LB and I love all 3. I am also a diver so I love my Subs.

The Smurf and Hulkster would be my choice. A winning combo.

I've never been much of a 126619 guy but with it's current grey price, it does seem like a lot of value for the money.

I think your collection has enough depth that you can have both Subs.

Why do the idiots that mock the nicknames have to chime in every time? So what??? If you don't have anything nice to contribute, just move onto the next thread. Don't make the OP feel bad... there is enough space here for everyone.

OP - it's a great watch, but I'd lean towards the SMURF!!

Of course it works. I had all three of the 116 versions of the sub: blue, hulk and black. I now own the 126 WG and LV. May add the LN later.

+ 1
Cookie Monster > Smurf > YM
Hulk balances the collection out.

You might want to tone down your posts in the future. Calling people "idiots" isn't going to win you friends. I personally haven't heard of "Cookie Monster" before, but by all means go for it, I really don't care. Relax, it's just a watch forum. Cheers

Don’t sweat it. I’m not sure either. I guess when you have expensive toys they don’t want kids name. The names don’t bother me. I agree with you. Nicknames are easier to remember then reference numbers followed by the color code. As you get more into the hobby you will learn both.
