PAM213 Case Issue, Quick Release Stuck

Hello,

I have a PAM 213 that i have had for about 7 years. The last few years one of the quick release buttons is stuck and I cannot get it unstuck. Had one person look at it and they couldn't either. Is this going to be a case replacement?

Try this?

The Panerai Boutique in Aspen, Colorado is located at 400 E. Hyman Ave., Aspen, CO 81611. Their phone number is (970) 544-1868.

Maybe they can help. Let us know how it works out.

From what I’ve heard from a long time ago, it’s a case replacement. Would be happy to learn otherwise. Please let us know.

It could be crud, build up etc. lodged inside the mechanism. I’d try soaking it in a cup of water for a bit and then trying again.

I would try the soaking as suggested and some high pressure air to it. Short of any success then back to Panerai. Good luck and keep us posted.

This was my worry as well from my research that it was sort of a common issue on these mechanisms.

Not necessarily.

I wouldn't say this is a common problem with the system. Out of thousands of cases with it only a few have had that issue. I have no worry about purchasing a panerai with that system.

I have not had a chance to take it to a Panerai dealer for inspection.
