....a fabulous afternoon dinner prepared by our friend and chef..grilled fresh salmon, a superb spinachia and sliced a'gratin potatoes.. with a delightful, fresh creme desert.

After a very productive day, it was time for dinner. Fired up the smoker and cooked a tri-tip. Served with some grilled asparagus, homemade seasoned rice, and a nice affordable Rioja. The menu seems to have the dogs approval.

Had a wonderful gathering nxt door at R&M's place of the 'Barnet Gang'..3 couples that are long time friends and residents on Barnet Rd..for a great dinner of braised short ribs, prep'd perfectly the night before, then seared in hot oil, then red wine, beef stock and veg puree slow cooked. WOW. along with Glazed carrots and mashed potatoes with of course Gravy. Accompanied with a fine Red Zinfidel ..it was Sooo Good...Finished with a light rum cake to clear the pallet. What wonderful dinner is was...
