I was waiting for the sword hands to come back, however the new Seamaster Diver with no date does look great with the wave dial, rubber strap and yes, the skeleton hands. A watch one might actually use when diving.

The mesh bracelet probably looks better than it wears, but it is not as bad looking as the normal bracelet.

Agreed. I normally don't like mesh bracelets but I really like the way this one looks. Unfortunately, it's just unwearable for me.

I'm not buying any Seasmasters with skeleton hands regardless of the bracelet. Not making that mistake a second time.

I like the Seamaster as is. I dig the skeleton hands. They are different enough from the hands on a Sub or similar. I like the blue, the wave, the hands, the size, I even don't dislike the He valve. While I will wear it steel on steel sometimes, mine mostly stays on the blue rubber. My only complaint is the bracelet, which is a super common complaint. It is hard for me to even get around this point. Omega has taken the most polarizing component of the Seamaster and made it even more polarizing, more ugly (too me).

All that said, I still think the new BG/Red bezel is a good look.

I have a NTTD. Got it preowned so couldn't try it on first.

Put it on a Nato immediately.

Had the opportunity to try it on this past weekend - definitely a cool piece. The 9kt gold is odd.

Didn’t see it on the bracelet but the mesh bracelet on the Bond 60th wears well. My initial thoughts were the same as a lot of you with the doubled up buckle. It’s nice though -

If anyone is flying through Abu Dhabi, the Omega store in the airport had some nice references including both of the latest Bond models and the new black seamaster no date on both bracelet and rubber....as well as some nice world timers and black speedy

Also most models were about 400 to 600$ cheaper than US retail pricing before adding any US tax....for example the Bond 60th was approximately 7,750$ (i think that's also £1800 pounds cheaper than UK retail )

How much flex, or lack of flex, is there on that mesh? I've heard that it's pretty stiff(?). How much does it bow out from the case?

Whenever I think mesh, I aways have the shark suit image in my mind, like chain mail, which seems more fluid.

Not the case with the Omega bracelet?

In RG a bit overkill with that mesh bracelet, but looks cool with the rubber strap.

Appreciate the pictures. The bracelet version just doesn't work for me. I do sort of like the strap version though.

For those who have gone for the mesh bracelet, did you get the regular size (which leaves a lot of strap under the clasp)?

Some have suggested getting the smaller strap, just so there is less overlap under the clasp.

Looking for anyone with real world experience on this issue.

I have owned the mesh strap on the NTTD and always went with the standard length. I would be careful on the smaller bracelet for this model as it will limit who can/will buy it on a trade or sale. This one will be hard enough to move without a standard bracelet.
