Diamond Bezeled 36mm DJ

Hey all, I was able to take a look at the new 36mm DJs with full diamond bezels today at my local AD. They had a TT model with a bronze flower dial, which looks very nice in the flesh, and a SS model with silver diamond dial. It looks like these models will have more dial choices than just the flowery ones, so I'd say it'd be more than suitable for a bloke who likes a bit of sparkle on his watch.

RRP of the SS one with diamond dial was £8190, whilst the TT model with flower dial was £8600. Not cheap at all....

I know a lot of the members on the forum aren't happy with the feminising of the 36mm DJ, but I'm certain the flower dialled ones will be a big seller in the future.

Just a few of my thoughts

Chris

Diamonds and SS don't mix for me. But the flower dialed DJ's do look alright on a lady's wrist, I have to say.

It is understandable that Rolex is pushing more towards more feminine watches, especially in Asia. It is tradition that the wife controls the families money.

It's just an unspoken truth in North America...

And in this Global economy, it makes no sense to ignore 50% of the population.
