Here's the closest image I could find.... instead of the mother of pearl she has gone for the white face... up close the watch looks stunning. Initially my wife wanted the younger looking oyster bracelet, but this jubilee combination really suited her.

Still time to change our minds as there was a very nice but used 18ct all gold jubilee watch for a similar price to this one new (both about double our initial budget )... my thinking is we can add the white diamond face to that next year or so... opinions?

I own that exact configuration, and prior to this newest model with the hidden clasp, I also owned this exact TT model with the older, visible clasp. Be forewarned that Rolex regards the white diamond dial as a special order, meaning only available at time of purchase or when you place an order. If you wish to change to this dial after purchase, you will have to obtain it from a source other than Rolex and look to have another service center other than Rolex NY or Rolex Dallas make this change. Good luck with your new purchase.

Thanks... and yep that's the watch.. (thanks for posting a picture) she loves the look of it and on her wrist it does look stunning. I think we have difinitely decided against a second hand all gold and she will opt for this TT... We should be buying from a local AD here in England, they are a very good jewllers and have various faces in stock, including a m.o.p diamond... but luckily she does not like it and it's about 1k more than the white one.

timescales for the combination she wants is approx 2 weeks here in the UK.

It's 6 a.m. here in Philly, and I haven't been to sleep yet, which is why I made such a moronic mistake. You're a little "geographically undesirable" from Rolex NY and Rolex Dallas. LOL

BTW, I love this watch since it is so versatile - can be worn with white metals, YG and the white diamond dial is striking yet simplistic. Goes with everything from casual wear to more formal attire. Perfect choice!

ha ha, great reply astcell....

Whilst the forum has been away from our lives recently there has been an update...

I still love the white diamond configuration, as does our 7 year old daughter and several friends.... as it's more versitile etc. but and here's the but....

My wife now likes this watch, with the same tt jubilee strap etc. but with a black face with diamond markers instead of white

Am I the only one that thinks this combo looks too fussy on a 26mm face with tt strap? plain stainless then yes but tt... imho it looks very dark, but she says the diamonds bling more than they do with the white face & her Tag has a white face etc etc etc...

whatever she wants, let her look and decide what she likes and then go for it. Unless u run across a deal that can't be passed up like i did on a ss wg bezel blue roman dial f# and luckily the wife loves it and wears all the time.

I am not the biggest fan of Rolex watches on women, especially if she has a narrow wrist. I had that dilemma with my wife and daughter who both have very narrow wrists. Both ended up with a Cartier. The wife got a Cartier Demoisselle in SS, it is a small face, and thin bracelet. The daughter got a ladies SS Cartier Roadster with the salmon/pink dial. Take a look at the ladies Cartier, the ladies Roadster is a midsize, and woman today like larger watches. If you are going to buy her a "gents" watch, make sure she loves it first.

Tt dj

I think a TT DJ with a white or gold face is a great choice and probably pretty affordable.

Both the white & black 26mm with diamond markers are coming it at sub £5k with the tt jubilee strap... so far, approx 12% off list...

the black is slightly cheaper as it's in stock...
