Incoming AB0110 Chronomat 44!

I finally decided to move forward with this and found a blue dial example which is currently in transit, scheduled to arrive in two days!

Now I'm planning on having one of the black dialed A13340's brushed (bracelet and case). This was the original plan but Breitling said they can do this for me!

Thank you, Brian! I'll be sure to do that as it has been a while since I've tried one. Excuse the terrible blurry shot from several years ago at the AD:

I believe the only difference between these two are the chapter ring and sub dial colour.

I had a hard time sleeping last night, as you could imagine. Thankfully it won't be in transit long. I'm not excited about sizing it, but maybe the A13340 was decent preparation for this.

Thanks, William! It's getting closer by the minute and the flight from Los Angeles to Toronto should land in a few hours. Very excited for tomorrow!

Thanks, Alex! This model represents the end of an era in some ways. I tried on the new Super Chronomat 44 and although I liked it a bit, the model I got represents the era that really got me into Breitling:

For me it's a must to have the wings logo on the dial, so not sure if I would ever end up with one of those shown directly above. It also wore rather large, coming from someone who wears a Planet Ocean Chronograph with no issues.

Congrats to you, sir! I picked up the 41mm version of this watch with the blue dial and black subdials a few months ago, it's amazing. In my opinion, one of the best ever that Breitling has ever come up with, as far as design aesthetics are concerned. Not just among chronomats, but ALL their collections

That’s awesome—blue dial incoming and a custom touch on the way!

Can’t wait to see how the brushed finish turns out. Enjoy the wait!

Thanks, Omar! Although that Super Chronomat B01 hasn't sold me yet so to speak, I can see why this product line, which taps into the brands heritage, is doing so well. The results speak for themselves (Morgan Stanley - February, 2024):

So I can totally see why you and many others feel this way. That new dial is absolutely beautiful in person, stunning actually. With my desire for the "Instruments for Professionals" era I'll have to see if the other logo on the dial grows on me.

Thanks, Chris! When I called Breitling last week they told me this was recently done for an Air Force pilot here, who wanted the brushed finish. Also, the newer version of the SuperOcean which was basically the same watch with a different crown, dial, and rubber bezel insert has a brushed finish so they may do it like that one(another blurry shot from years ago):

I'm going to have a hard time sleeping tonight!
