Bracelet repair
Im looking to have my jubilee bracelet repaired. I've heard good things about Michael Young in Hong Kong. Has anyone had any personal experience with this company ? Pro watch case repairs ? The bracelet is off my father's 75 GMT so any thoughts or recommendations are appreciated.

I hear that Michael Young does good work, but shipping can be a hassle, as well as communication.
Rolliworks in Miami is a bracelet repair shop that usually gets good marks too.

.
Do you know the type of bracelet it has or can you post pictures? Sometimes an overhaul on a bracelet out prices the value of the bracelet depending on the type. |

Bracelet repair
Welcome to the forum and I think you should take a look at some search results here on TRF for both Young and Rolliworks.
The difficulty in predicting outcomes depends on the condition of the bracelet. A 50 year old one may need a new clasp. The Jubilee links don't always come loose in a condition to be reused. YMMV. Google can help you crawl through the dozens of threads to do your TRF research. Type this into Google to see them: rolexforums.com michael young rolexforums.com rolliworks From personal experience with bracelets - especially 50 year old ones - a proper new one may be better than refurbishment hassles. RSC would be correct source or an AD. It won't be the original but would be what your Dad might have done... I do understand the heritage value of an original one - but my Dad had changed out an original bracelet for a Twist-o-Flex once in the '80's. He just liked the ease of use. ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have had 2 president bracelets done by Rollie works, they both came back fantastic. But that was gold so SS may be harder to do. Also some collectors will devalue a restored bracelet.
My thought like above would be to check all the sites and try to find another one and use your clasp. You can post a WTB on this forum as well. If you to take some good pictures and send them to rollie works , they will give you an estimate , that will give you a starting point. Best. Chris Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk |

I used Michael Young for a YG ladies presidential bracelet five years ago. Flawless work.

My 7836 just came back from Rolliworks.
It probably didn't need a service, but I needed to add a link and have one of the end-links repaired, as it was getting stuck, so I figured might as well get everything done already. Results were great! You can choose level of polish you want from a scale of 1-10, or no polish at all. The stretch on my bracelet was initially measured at 85% and I thought I wouldn't notice a difference, but removing the stretch and bringing it back to 99% is eye-opening! |

I have used Michael twice for 9315 bracelets and his work has been superb. Prices are very reasonable too.

I vouch for Rolliworks. They did great on my triple 6 band. Super tight. Had to put another link in.
