H. Moser says, "Brace yourselves, Moser lovers. We’ve just turned up the volume. Meet the new Endeavour Pop collection—an electrifying explosion of colour and gemstones. This is a high-voltage moment in watchmaking, where minimalist design meets maximalist energy. Think high horology, but make it pop. You know we’ve built our legacy on understatement, stripping away the excess and letting time speak for itself. But every artist has their pop moment—a bold, uninhibited departure from the expected. Our canvas? Time itself. Our medium? Some of the most breathtaking gemstones nature has to offer. The Endeavour Pop collection is a riot of unexpected colour combinations, a chromatic odyssey that defies the traditional monochrome elegance of high-end watchmaking."

I do not like those dials at all lol. Wonder if that purple concept one is real because that one looked really nice and would be one I’d maybe consider getting. But yea those stone dials are just not my taste lol.

Some of these combos are neat. I like the idea, wish we could combine any colors together and not limited by two each.

Does the small seconds implicate the micro rotor movement?

Well, their website says

The HMC 202 automatic calibre features a bidirectional winding system, partially skeletonised bridges, and an anthracite grey finish with our signature double stripes. An 18K solid gold rotor ensures efficient winding, while the stop seconds function and Straumann® hairspring enhance precision and stability.

I do like the endeavor case, but these are no more intriguing to me than any other endeavor that has existed. I think I would prefer these without the small seconds. The stones likely are more dynamic in person. They look a bit flat in these renderings. STill, there are many endeavors i like better. I'd prefer vantablack, blue lagoon concept, or the older manual-wind guilloche dials in the 38mm cases.

I see. Its not the HMC 500, so /i guess no u-rotor, So if the OG center seconds movement is the HMC 200, and the recent more skeletonized update is the HMC 201, is the HMC 202 a new small seconds based on the log center seconds (presumably just removed the cs components)?

Per this article, the small seconds watches are limited to 28 per colorway, the tourbillon at 5 pieces, and the minute repeater at one per colorway. The prices start at $33k and go up from there.

Good question. I might be making a quick trip to HK this month so if I do, I'll stop by the Moser boutique and ask. Also, I'm going to Tokyo this weekend and plan on stopping by the Moser retailer / AD there, so I'll ask them.

Oh interesting. It looks like the store in JP updated their webpage and it shows up there now. It's listed with an estimated price of 4,829,000 Yen, or about 32k USD.

Tried the carnet/prototype piece more than a week ago and they really nailed this purple piece, fume dial looks gorgeous from all angles, expressed my interest on the spot.

You’re really selling me on this lol. Did they indicate any limited availability? I really wanna check one out in person first but I probably wouldn’t be able to make a purchase for at least later in the year.

If you like the Streamliner blue enamel small seconds dial, I’m sure you will like this one. It looks outstanding with the matching purple strap.

Unfortunately, they did not provide any indication of availability but I was told allocation shouldn’t be an issue.

They should have no problems with the endeavour cases and movements. The main yield fallout will be for the dials since that involves multiple baking to get the fume effect, so dial cracks as well as dial color uniformity might eventually impact the production numbers. That’s what I understand from them when I was asked about their enamel fume dial.

Glad to hear allocation won’t be a problem.

I just really wanna check this out in person before I get too hyped about it. In some photos the purple looks so dark and rich and in others way too light/pinkish for my taste. I know the dial is gonna change with the light /angle but I really wanna see how it looks on the wrist to get a better look. It’s a hefty price tag so I wanna be sure. Also I’m kind of hoping there can be as discount at some ADs later in the year.

Thanks for the additional info.

Oh and I agree that strap looks perfect.

Rapidly losing interest in H Moser given the direction that Edouard Meylan has taken with design. However still rich pickings of very reasonably priced pre-owned Moser Monards and Endeavours much more to my taste.

Most of the new releases border or cross into hideous. Then again, the amorphous blob “steamliner” is a rather unattractive piece and garners praise. Most of the collection looks like someone decided to rehash the worst design traits of the 80s/90s and rely on tickling nostalgia among a certain demographic.

The purple endeavour could have been a nice piece for my wife, if at 31-33mm. That 40mm with all the dial space… looks more like an alien growth or wart.

Same. I was really supportive of the brand for a while but the latest releases have left me cold. Shame, but they clearly have sufficient demand for the stuff they produce.

Like the brand, but prefer their earlier watches like the palladium pieces from the early 2010-s. Some rare gems to be found there.

Its the purple version of the green enamel from a few years ago. Its a super cool watch and the enameling is incredible; at the same time at nearly $30k for a time only 'concept' watch makes me really nervous if their objective is commercial success. I'd so much rather get the lime green for the high teens pre-owned.

Moser is staying true to their direction for sure, I'm just not sure if its really going to position them for long term commercial success

Yea the price is concerning to me as well. I’m hoping it doesn’t sell too well and there’s a good discount I can get a year from now. It’s just too much at retail.

Virtually all mosers are 50% off now secondary. I love the brand but you better plan on keeping if you buy from AD. I strongly doubt even a purple haze 3 hander could sell for 20k secondary and it’s a newish product

I have learned this the hard way, a few times
