Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M 220.53.43.22.02.001

I have been really interested in this reference and presently on a trip through Europe....Today went into the Omega Boutique in Venice and they had one in stock, tried it on and loved the fit and feel....When discussing price, the Boutique would not discount the watch, they noted I would save 18% on the sales tax reducing the price from 33k Euro to around 27k, however I thought there would be potential for a further reduction on the watch retail price outside of tax as well, but alas no dice....I did not think this reference would be in 'demand' and further discount on the actual watch outside of tax would be possible....

Should I be expecting a discount on such references in Europe or is it standard policy not to discount outside of tax for visitors...? I will also spend a few days in Munich and Geneva, perhaps better luck to be had there ? Would be grateful for anybody with some insight... Thanks...

That's gorgeous!

I have never heard of discounts from Omega Boutiques. Authorized Dealers, yes, but not the Boutiques that Omega operates. I suppose you could make an offer.

There are cooperative authorized dealers in the US who probably would be glad to do some bargaining on that beautiful Omega

Boutiques will not discount desirable models per policy. AD's are a different matter and will typically work with you on a high value piece as demand is limited based on price. I would look pre-owned as most PM Omega watch sell for significantly less on the secondary market.

That's a great looking watch. I hope you find an AD on this trip that can work with you on pricing.

Took your advice and did exactly that Found a 2023 unworn still with a couple of stickers with papers, sadly no box....however 45% less than UK retail which was great for an unworn reference...needless to say, I'm very happy

Congratulations. Great looking watch and at the right price. You can source a box should you want one but for now, enjoy.
