Same issues for me as well. I am in the habit of opening multiple TRF tabs, especially when looking at the watches for sale, and have been getting similar messages. I'd guess that TRF may be limiting the speed or number of simultaneous streams to an individual ip address to try to thwart bots/web crawlers/DOS attacks, and any other noxious cyber-activities.

I thought it was just me. For me it started the day I got Tapatalk to be able to add photos more easily and thought this was why I was having troubles logging on.

I have been having problems for the past 2 days, similar to above.
Error 1015 - You are being rate limited or something.

Same issues for me. Everything started around 20th of march. TRF also not working properly with Tapatalk anymore, sometimes lots of images uploaded via TRF aren't visible on Tapatalk, same goes for users avatars.

Is the Rolexforum site having problems?

Some of our own behaviors could play a role in triggering a 1015 rate limit message.

Sharing only in the spirit of communication - not saying anyone here has purposely done anything to create the problem.

First, I admit that I used to have many tabs open with TRF on my laptop. This was before I switched almost exclusively to TapaTalk.

Next, Cloudflare is intended to identify potentially hazardous netflow targeting a protected web server.

Together, those two variables + having a web browser utilize a high refresh rate can trigger a 1015 to a perfectly innocent user when an anonymous bad actor is flooding requests in a malicious intent to attack TRF.

The Cloudflare 1015 error code, also known as "You are being rate limited," is issued when a client exceeds the rate limits set on a website using Cloudflare's services. This can happen if a script or bot is trying to scrape the website or if there is a high volume of traffic coming from a single IP address.

Be sure you have a good AV utility that can do a malware scan on your machine to see if you've inadvertently activated a bot.

If an application or service is misconfigured and continuously sends requests without proper intervals, it can lead to rate limiting. Use your Task Manager tool and look for applications or utilities that are using excessive CPU or network resources. You may be surprised if one is hogging a high % of realtime or network bandwidth. Of course, force quit the app or utility doing it. If this happened you may have inadvertently been compromised by a keystroke logger and are unwittingly a part of a DDoS botnet. Maybe change your TRF password from a different machine or mobile device, too.

To resolve this issue of everthing looks fine on your end, release and renew your IP addy (I presume nobody here uses a static IP and is using their ISP's dynamic IP address utility).

Website administrators can adjust rate limit settings in their Cloudflare dashboard to accommodate expected traffic levels. But I don't think Steve invoked anything purposefully - it could have been triggered by an "event" as it is called in the vernacular.

Are any of you getting the page where it's says verifying if you're a real person, then a circle is spinning/loading showing that it's working? Then, it say success!......then it finally goes to the Rolex forum page with all of the topics. Sometimes, it does the verifying a real person and then I get the blocked message/Cloudfare that others have posted screenshots of.

I've never gotten the verifying if you're a real person page, in my many years of using TRF.

All the time now. Sometimes it goes from that screen to a pure white screen and then nothing. I guess I am glad this was not just me since I am always on TRF and with different equipment and it does this on everything from Windows, iOS, and Android.

I'm not getting any of the banned status notifications, but still getting "am I a human" over the course of any given day, multiple times a day. Of course, now, I'll start getting the banned notices, for sure.

I keep getting all of those (Banned, rate-limited, white screen, yada). The reply section also looks like a mess on my computer:

Never mind. Can't attach an image either...

I've been banned/blocked too for a few days. Now just getting back in. But it let me assess other parts of TRF, just not the main discussion forum.

Moderators- please disregard the email I just sent.

OK, Sorry for that, but we are just implementing and adjusting the security levels.
There is a little teething process and I request that you be patient.

All should be good soon. Please try again now.

This all started when the Cloudfare “are you a human” was introduced. If whoever introduced that can stop its use we can get back to normal. Silence from the people managing the forum?

Steve has been very upfront on the security Cloudflare provides from DDoS.

Your snide comment is unhelpful methinks.

First for me it was making sure I was human. Now Rate Limited warnings and banning. I suspect this is all about trying to control bot attacks to the site. I totally appreciate that but on the other hand It makes the site almost insufferable to use.
